Visitor Etiquette
When visiting the Wollongong Botanic Garden please enjoy your stay and make
the most of the beautiful surroundings. Feel free to ask staff about plants,
services and programs at the Garden. For business enquires please go to the
Administration Centre located on Northfields Ave. To ensure that all visitors
have an enjoyable time at the Garden, the following
activities
are prohibited:
- Ball games
- Rollerblading
- Riding of bikes, scooters or skateboards
- Driving of vehicles
- Igniting of gas or fire BBQ’s
- Littering
- Camping
- Consumption of alcohol
- Handling flora and fauna within the Garden
- Bringing dogs into the Garden.

The gardens have an excellent network of paths for accessing most of the
Garden. There are also many areas in the Garden where getting off the beaten
track
to experience the true beauty of the gardens is encouraged. However, we
ask that you do not walk through garden beds.
